Trust is a build rule, not a writing style

AI may write the page. AI may not write the facts.

Useworthy separates sourced facts, deterministic calculations and editorial explanation. A release is blocked when protected facts drift, price maths disagrees, unsupported owner statistics appear, or market/canonical rules fail.

FACT

Source-controlled

Prices, market, currency, evidence level, source URL and snapshot date must match the approved Source of Truth.

CALCULATED

Recomputed

Price gaps, ratios and break-even boundaries are checked from locked inputs rather than copied from prose.

EDITORIAL

Explain, don’t invent

Editorial language may interpret a decision boundary but cannot create owner statistics, durability outcomes or unsupported facts.

What a release check looks for

  • UK transaction pages use GBP and UK price sources.
  • Displayed product prices match the approved price registry.
  • Comparison maths matches deterministic formulas.
  • Evidence levels match the product registry.
  • No owner aggregate is published before an owner dataset is established.
  • Canonical URLs and sitemap URLs resolve to the approved www host.
  • Unexpected fact changes block the build until explicitly approved with a source and reason.

What this does not claim

A release audit cannot make unknown evidence known. It is designed to prevent silent factual drift and calculation errors, not to manufacture certainty.
